MEAC men's basketball teams will tip off conference play Saturday, Dec. 5, with an array of exciting matchups.

The defending MEAC champion Morgan State Bears will open up on the road against Coppin State. The Bears, who were picked to win the conference title again this year, finished 13-3 in MEAC play and 23-12 overall last season. Coppin State will host their long-time rival in the new Physical Education Complex beginning at 4 p.m.

The Hampton Pirates will face off against the Howard Bison at the Big Apple Classic at Madison Square Garden in New York, NY, beginning at 6 p.m. 

Conference action continues with Delaware State at Maryland Eastern Shore and interstate rivals Florida A&M versus Bethune-Cookman.  South Carolina State will host Winston-Salem State in non-conference action beginning at 4 p.m.
