University of Maryland Eastern Shore freshman Anggie Ramirez was named the MEAC Bowling Athlete of the Week, the league announced on Wednesday.
Ramirez (5-6, Fr., Bogata, Columbia) averaged a 212.1 on 1,273 pinfall, during six team games, including a game-high 235 at the National Collegiate Team Match Games. She earned the Tournament MVP honor and guided her team to a second place finish at the meet.

Maria Rodriguez (UMES) finished second at the National Collegiate Team Match Games with a 207.8 average and pinfall of 1,247.
