Aggies Silence Senators
GREENSBORO - There are two things North Carolina A&T head coach Jerry Eaves likes about Friday night's game against Davis & Elkins. One, it's over. And two, the Aggies won.
The Aggies didn't have their most crisp effort, but they still managed to defeat the Senators 67-53 in front of 2,853 at Corbett Sports Center. Thomas Coleman led the Aggies with 12 points, 12 rebounds and four blocks. Robert Johnson added 11 points and eight rebounds, and James Porter finished with eight points and 11 boards.
The Aggies shot just 34.8 percent from the floor, 18.8 percent from the line and 56.3 percent from the line.

SECOND HALF WOES CONTINUE AS MISSOURI STATE DOWNS UMES, 70-53
Foul trouble plays key role in loss
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Three Hawks scored in double digits, but it wasn't enough as the University of Maryland Eastern Shore lost to host Missouri State, 70-53, in the Hispanic College Fund Challenge Friday at JQH Arena.

A 3-pointer by Robertson at 9:10 gave UMES their largest lead of the game at 16-13. Throughout the first half, the score was tied 10 times while the lead changed six times.
