The South Carolina State Bulldogs men’s basketball team will face the Howard Bison during a nationally televised matchup, Monday, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, January 19.  The game will broadcast live on ESPNU beginning at 7 p.m. 

The SCSU-Howard matchup is the second MEAC televised basketball matchup of the season and is a part of the league’s seven-year partnership with ESPN. 

The MEAC television schedule tipped off last week, January 12, as the Florida A&M Rattlers picked up a double-overtime victory against the Hampton Pirates, 76-75.  Senior guard Lamar Twitty’s jumper with seven seconds remaining on the clock to seal the win was the No. 9 highlight on SportsCenter’s Top 10 Plays of the Day.
