Winston-Salem State men’s tennis team fell in defeat to the Florida A&M Rattlers on Saturday afternoon in Tallahassee, Florida by the score of 7-0 as WSSU dropped their ninth consecutive match to drop to 1-22 overall on the season.
The Rattlers swept all six singles matches, two by 6-0, 6-0 sweeps and then earned the doubles point with a pair of 8-0 victories at first and third doubles and an 8-1 victory at second doubles.
The loss drops Winston-Salem State University to 1-22 overall on the season with one match remaining in the 2008 season.
Winston-Salem State returns to action on Sunday, April 13 as they travel to Atlanta, Georgia to face Morehouse College in the final competition of their 2008 season.
