The Winston-Salem State Lady Rams (3-17) closed their second MEAC Division Meet with a strong performance as the squad posted a 2-3 record in Baker games play in Chesapeake, Virginia. The Lady Rams posted wins over host Norfolk State and South Carolina State in Baker games.
The Lady Rams opened the day with a strong start, defeating host Norfolk State in the first game of the day. The Lady Rams outdueled the Lady Spartans 684-632. The Lady Rams followed the effort with a straight set loss to North Carolina A&T before bouncing back for a 693-617 win over South Carolina State. The Lady Rams were outdueled however, in matches against Florida A&M and Bethune-Cookman.
The Lady Rams will have a long break ahead of them as the team will next take the lanes at their third MEAC Southern Division meet of the season in Tallahassee, Fla. on January 10th.
