The Florida A&M Lady Rattler Volleyball team extended it MEAC conference win streak Friday evening with a 3-0 victory over South Carolina State in Gaither Gymnasium.
Florida A&M (3-9, 1-0 in MEAC) extended its' string - the longest active run in NCAA Division One - with a 25-11, 25-16, 25-14 triumph.
Sophomore Jovana Blazeski led FAMU with 13 kills and 10 digs. Senior Samara Ferraz had eight kills, while junior Maria Gomez finished with nine kills and four service aces. Sophomore Susan Egoavil led FAMU with 33 assists.
South Carolina State (5-16, 0-1 in MEAC) was led by Jarne Gleaton with six kills, followed by Peri Ligons and Shabree Roberson with five kills. Bria Brimmer had 16 assists.
FAMU will host Norfolk State on Sunday at 3 p.m.
