DSU Women Finish Seventh At Towson Invitational

The Delaware State Women’s Cross Country Team turned in a seventh-place performance at the Towson Invitational at Oregon Ridge Park on Friday afternoon. DSU registered 171 points. Towson was the top team with 41 points, followed by Albany (45) and UMBC (90). Senior Mallory Ross was the Hornet’s top finisher with a 12th-place finish, running the 5K event in 19-minutes, 20-seconds (season-best). UMBC’s Sara Parkinson was the individual winner with a time of 18:14. Kendra Mayers was DSU’s next runner to cross the finish line with a time of 21:39 (season-best) in 41st-place.
