Delaware State’s Kelli Thibou and Sean Guy helped lead the men’s cross country team to a fifth-place finish at the Towson Invitational on Friday, October 3 at Oregon Ridge Park. DSU recorded 140 points. UMBC was the top team with 23 points, followed by Mount St. Mary’s (64) and Albany (65). Thibou was the Hornet’s top finisher with a time of 28:05 (19th-place), while Guy registered a time of 28:40 (23rd-place) during the 8000-meter event. UMBC’s Paul Zwama was the individual winner with a time of 26:33.
