Women's Cross Country 10/12/2008 4:00:00 AM MEAC Media Relations NSU?s Chichester Leads the Field at UMES Hawk Challenge Reining MEAC Athlete of the Week Jennifer Chichester won her second straight individual title on Saturday when she finished first in 18:04 at the Maryland Eastern Shore Hawk Invitational. Norfolk State finished second overall with 51 points behind UMES (36), the 2007 MEAC Champions.Chichester also posted an 18:04 earlier this season on UMES' 5K course in the Cappy Anderson Invitational on Sept. 20.Sophomore Anastacia Limo posted a personal-best time of 19:17 to finish 10th overall and second for NSU. Junior Tia Miles finished 11th in 19:47.Syeeda Gee and Marnita Patterson rounded out the Spartans' top five, finishing 14th and 15th, respectively.Gee ran a 20:05, while Patterson finished in 20:12. Candace Shoates also had a career day, finishing the race in 20:58.The Spartans will take next week off before competing in the MEAC Championship on Oct. 25 at UMES in Princess Anne, Md.
