Morgan State senior Dionne Holmes was selected as the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Bowling Athlete of the Week, the league announced on Thursday.

Holmes (Sr., 5-9, Largo, Maryland) led the Lady Bears to a 7-3 overall mark and a third place finish at the Southern Varsity Invitational in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Holmes tallied three 200-plus games and averaged 187.7 pins in seven games played. She knocked down 1,314 pins and posted a game-high 264 in a win over Praire View A&M.

Tiffany Hunt (NSU) bowled a 215 in a non-conference win over Winston-Salem State.

Marissa Moffett (FAMU) helped the Lady Rattlers finish 10-0 in team play and baker matches at a meet hosted by Winston-Salem State with a 168.8 average in five games played.
