Volleyball 10/16/2007 4:00:00 AM MEAC Media Relations Morgan St. Sweeps Hampton, Head Coach Bozier Wins 350th Career Victory Morgan State improved to 30-0 all-time against Hampton, following a 3-0 (30-21, 30-14, 30-21) victory on Monday night at Hill Field House. Along with the win, Morgan State increased its winning streak to a season-tying three matches, while head coach Ramona Riley-Bozier recorded her 350th career victory at Morgan State. Jeniqua Moran hit for a match-high .542 hitting percentage and led the Lady Bears (6-14, 4-2 MEAC) with 13 kills, while Ivanti Bush added 11 kills. Ashley Preston had a team-high 13 digs and Jentri Fullove finished with 32 assists. The Lady Bears, who out-blocked Hampton 8-4, was led by Vashaye Ellegood and Dominique Bozier, who had four blocks apiece. Bush added three blocks, while Esther Johnson and Moran had two blocks each. Hampton was led by Aaryn Harrison’s team-high 13 kills and Ebonie Vincent added 10. Alyssa Jackson had a match-high 18 digs and Jasmin Elder finished with 29 assists for the Lady Pirates. As a team the Lady Bears collected 38 kills and had a .271 hitting percentage for the match, while Hampton hit for .026 percent and recorded 33 kills. The Lady Bears return to action on Wednesday, Oct. 17, when they host New Jersey Tech at 7 p.m. at Hill Field House. Morgan State was swept by the Knights in the first meeting this season in Newark, N.J. (Sept. 18).
